Dysprosium III Nitrate Hydrate is used to prepare carboxylate-based dinuclear dysprosium compound by reacting with n-butyric acid and triethylamine using methanol as a solvent.

Dysprosium III Nitrate Hydrate is a highly water soluble crystalline Dysprosium source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. All metallic nitrates are inorganic salts of a given metal cation and the nitrate anion.

In the Dysprosium III Nitrate Hydrate, the nitrate anion is a univalent (-1 charge) polyatomic ion composed of a single nitrogen atom ionically bound to three oxygen atoms (Formula: NO3) for a total formula weight of 62.05. Nitrate compounds are generally soluble in water. Nitrate materials are also oxidizing agents. When mixed with hydrocarbons, nitrate compounds can form a flammable mixture.

Dysprosium III Nitrate Hydrate : Almost all inorganic nitrate salts are soluble in water at standard temperature and pressure. A common example of an inorganic nitrate salt is potassium nitrate (saltpeter). A rich source of inorganic nitrate in the human body comes from diets rich in leafy green foods, such as spinach and arugula. NO3- (inorganic nitrate) is the viable active component within beetroot juice and other vegetables.

Dysprosium III Nitrate Hydrate: Its elemental form, dysprosium has a silvery-white appearance. It is a member of the lanthanide or rare earth series of elements and, along with holmium, has the highest magnetic strength of all other elements on the periodic table, especially at low temperatures
